Lion king trees and 10 year old love interests

We made it safely to Cameroon today! We were quite the spectacle in a large van full of young white girls in a sea of dark brown. Sarah Doob got her picture taken, Eliza was asked for a telephone number by a 10 year old in a van next to us, and we all shed our layers of DC weather clothing to accommodate for the amazing 80 degree heat here. Yaounde's first impression was none other than intense. Tons of beautiful people, bright red dirt, and an intense smell like nothing I've ever smelled before. A kind of sweetness mixed with fire and nature. We were taken to the Dickinson Center, which is a really large nice apartment, and we finished the day by standing out on our balcony looking down onto Yaounde lit up in the dark.
